Introduction:

We understand that schedules can change, and we strive to be flexible while maintaining a fair and efficient learning environment. This policy outlines our guidelines regarding cancellations, no-shows, and session adjustments.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24-Hour Notice: We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for any session cancellation or rescheduling.
  • Tolerable Cancellations (Private Students):
    • As your instructor, I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. While the 24-hour notice is preferred, I am generally more tolerant with private students who pay for their lessons directly.
    • Occasional short-notice cancellations from private students may be accepted at the instructor's discretion.
    • However, please be mindful that frequent cancellations disrupt the schedule and may affect future scheduling priorities.
  • Enforced Cancellations (Corporate Students):
    • For corporate students whose lessons are paid for by their companies, the 24-hour cancellation policy will be strictly enforced.
    • Short-notice cancellations from corporate students will typically result in a charged session.
    • Occasional exceptions may be made at the instructor's discretion, but consistency is prioritized.
  • Accepted Cancellations (No Charge):
    • Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice will not be charged.
    • Cancellations due to documented medical or health emergencies will be accepted without charge, regardless of notice.
    • Instructor may cancel sessions due to unforseen circumstances, in that case, the student will not be charged.

No-Show Policy

  • Charged Sessions: Failure to attend a scheduled session without any prior notice (no-show) will result in a charged session, regardless of the student's payment source.
  • Communication: Please communicate any potential delays or absences as soon as possible.

Late Show Tolerance:

  • 10-Minute Wait: A 10-minute grace period will be allowed for late arrivals.
  • Session Adjustment: If a student arrives late, the session may be shortened to accommodate the remaining scheduled time.

Session Duration and Adjustments

  • Standard Duration: The standard session duration is 45 minutes.
  • Flexibility: Depending on the flow of the lesson and learning requirements, the instructor may extend the session to 50 minutes or more.
  • Charging Policy: Students will only be charged for the agreed-upon 45-minute full session or 30-minute part session (in rare cases), regardless of any extensions.
  • Instructor Schedule Changes: The instructor reserves the right to make last-minute schedule adjustments. In such cases, students will not be charged for cancellations or any additional time.
